PARISH PASTORAL AREA
Just to keep you all updated on the work being done as our new pastoral area comes together. We are currently working on a new website which will have details and information about each of our 7 churches and 5 local schools, as well as making it easier for people to book masses and order certificates online. www.stcarloacutisparish.ie
We are also designing new welcome signs for each church and have begun to sort out some of the administrational requirements with the banks to assist us in reducing the amount of administration which I have been dealing with in the last few years.
In the coming weeks, a portrait of St Carlo which was blessed by Bishop Cullinan when he announced the new pastoral area will also be installed in each church. As mentioned last week, we are also updating some of the liturgical furnishings in The Nire Church and we thank the Phelan family for their generous donation of a chalice and chasuble in memory of the late John Phelan.
While each parish maintains its own parish council and autonomy – we are now able to work closer in the day to day administration and liturgical collaboration. Much of the work has already been achieved in the last three years, thanks to all who assist in our individual churches. I take this opportunity to thank our Parish and Finance councils for their support and we look forward to continuing to build on our parish pastoral area maintaining our local parishes and churches collectively for the future.

GRANGE CHURCH CHOIR
Mass at 10.30 this Sunday includes the deceased, former and current members of Grange Choir who are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their formation this year.
