SCHOOL BOARDS OF MANAGEMENT In October 1975 Boards of Management were established to manage Ireland’s primary schools and undoubtedly they have served us very well in the intervening 50 years. As we celebrate the Golden jubilee this month, we think of all those who served or serve on boards of management, past and present and pray for those gone before us including clergy and lay members.
