Even though it is not a Holyday this year, but because the 8th falls on a Sunday, the Solemnity is moved to Monday 9th . Mass times for the Solemnity are:

6.30pm Newcastle. (With Blessing of Outside crib afterwards)
ST VINCENT DE PAUL ANNUAL COLLECTION will take place in all churches over this weekend. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
GROW IN LOVE SACRAMENTAL MASSES
Next weekend, we welcome many of our 6th Class students and their parents to the next gathering of our ‘Confirming Our Children’ parish masses. The children and their parents will be involved in the readings, offertory, and other reflections at our community weekend Mass, in preparation of them receiving their Confirmation in the spring.
PARISH FAITH REPS
Nodlaig Lillis, our Youth & Young Adult ministry Officer in the Diocese, will be speaking at Masses across our churches in the coming weeks to discuss and encourage the role of Faith Reps which are being commissioned across parishes in our diocese.
Parish Faith Reps are volunteers at Parish level who feel called to walk with young people on their journey of faith in some way, trained and supported by the diocese for an initial commitment of two years which can be extended.
They are people who see the need to encourage and mentor young people in their faith are willing to do what they can, with the time and the gifts they have available to them.
Nodlaig will be speaking at all Masses in Newcastle, Ardfinnan, Fourmilewater, Grange and Ballybacon next weekend.
ARDFINNAN COMMUNITY COUNCIL Senior Citizens Christmas Party is on in Ardfinnan Community Centre on Sunday December 8th at 2pm. Open to all Senior Citizens in the local and surrounding areas. Pease come along and join in the festivities. If you need transport phone Kitty on 087 756 2742
ARDFINNAN BRIDGE Tipperary County Council Consultation on the design of Ardfinnan pedestrian and cycle bridge takes place on 19th December in Ardfinnan Community Centre between 2.00pm & 8.00pm. This is an important step in the process in having the new bridge installed
NEWCASTLE CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR in aid of the First Responders group takes place on Sunday 8th December 12-5pm. Everyone welcome. Free Entry.
BALLYMACARBRY CHRISTMAS FAMILY DAY Sun 15th December 2-5pm in the Community Centre. Fun for all the family
BELLE VOCE CHOIR- are holding a Christmas Coral Concert in Ferryhouse Church – Fri 13 Dec st 7.30pm. Donations on night for Suir Dragon Paddlers.
