THOUGHTS FOR THIS EASTER SUNDAY WITH
ST CARLO ACUTIS
Easter is not just about an empty tomb it is about new lite, the victory of Christ over sin and death, and His real presence among us. But where do we encounter the Risen Christ today? We find Him most profoundly in the Holy Mass. At every Mass, we participate in the Paschal Mystery-the suffering, death, and Resurrection of Jesus. The same Jesus who conquered death becomes present on the altar. The Eucharist is not a symbol of a memory; it is the living Christ, offering us His Body and Blood, just as He did at the Last Supper and just as He continues to do in His glorified, risen state. When we receive the Eucharist, we receive the Risen Lord, the very source of eternal life.
Carlo Acutis understood this profound truth when he said, “You go straight to heaven if you participate in the Mass every day.” The Eucharist is our direct encounter with the Risen Jesus, the same Jesus who appeared to Maty Magdalene, the disciples on the road to Emmaus, and the Apostles in the Upper Room.
On this Easter Sunday, we proclaim with all our hearts:
He is Risen! Alleluia!
Alleluia! Do we recognize the presence of the Risen Christ in our lives? Do we seek Him in the Eucharist, where He is truly present? Easter is not just a day— it is an invitation to live in the light of the Resurrection, to let Jesus’ victory over death shape the way we love, serve, and worship.

We have in the Parish Office in Ardfinnan and shortly in each of our churches specially designed Mass Bouquets Parchments. There are two available – A Mass for Your Intentions and as a Mass Card for the deceased.
Both are in a folder and cost of €15 which includes the price of the Card and Mass intention which will be remembered in our Monthly Intentions Mass of St Carlo Acutis. Please contact the Parish Office for more information.
