6TH CLASS CONFIRMING OUR CHILDREN
This weekend, we continue our Confirmation Preparation program, Confirming Our Children.
Let us pray for all those preparing for all the sacraments that this will be a time of renewal and discovery of the faith which we are happy to share and encourage them to develop their gifts and talents further.
In Touraneena, both 2nd and 6th Class will come together with their parents for Family Mass
on Saturday 17th January at 7pm.
In The Nire 2nd and 6th Class will come together with their parents for Family Mass
on Sunday 18th January at 11am
68TH WATERFORD AND LISMORE DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES
The 68th Waterford and Lismore Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from 3rd to 8th June 2026, led by Most Rev. Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan.
“The Diocese of Waterford and Lismore travel to Lourdes each year in June, taking over 100 sick pilgrims on a pilgrimage of faith and hope to Our Lady’s Shrine. They are accompanied by doctors, nurses, handmaids, brancardiers, youth team, choir and many others who give freely of their time to help with the sick. The new weekly envelopes this year begin in January and are available in the church porches for those who use them. Every contribution goes towards the upkeep and support of your local parish church, as well as special collections throughout the year. Newcastle Muintir na Tire
With the assistance of Tipperary ETB, Newcastle Muintir na Tire are offering classes in Chair Yoga for Beginners – commencing Tuesday 13th January from 12 to 1pm in the community hall. These classes are free to participants. If you wish to book your place contact Marian on 087 1254882.
