COMMUNION TO THE SICK
Could we take the opportunity to remind our housebound parishioners that we are happy to bring Holy Communion to them if they are unable to come physically to church? Either the priest, or Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion do this wonderful act of love and charity. The daily streaming facility brings the Mass from Ardfinnan and other places into the homes of many who are unable to make the journey to us, but it cannot bring a sacramental encounter with the Lord. All too often, it is only after a person has died that we are made aware of them. Sacramental support can be crucially important for such individuals as they prepare for their definitive journey into the presence of our loving Father. If you or anyone known to you would benefit from house visits, do please let us know by contacting the Parish Office. Similarly, if you find yourselves in hospital, you should ask to see the chaplain or specifically ask for the local priest to call if possible.
