SAINTS THIS WEEK
It’s a busy week for the saints this week in the Church!
On Tuesday 29th September,
SS Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.
Thursday 1st October St Therese of the Child Jesus, Friday 2nd the Guardian Angels.
Angel of God, My Guardian dear,
To whom God’s love Commits me here,
Ever this day, Be at my side
To light and guard To rule and guide.
O Little Thérèse of the Child Jesus, please pick for me a rose from the heavenly gardens and send it to me as a message of love.
O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God to grant the favours I now place with confidence in your hands..
St. Thérèse, help me to always believe as you did in God’s great love for me, so that I might imitate your “Little Way” each day. Amen
SIGNED MASS CARDS
A reminder that signed Mass cards are available in the sacristy and parish office. This is recorded and is either said by Fr Michael, Fr Frawley or Fr Jim, and any excess Masses are sent to the diocese for Mission Priests to offer the Mass at a later date.
Please be careful if obtaining signed sympathy or Signed Mass cards from other places, as these may not be offering an actual Mass which we are required to do under the Charity Regulator requirements and under Canon Law and by authority of the local Bishop.
