FINANCIAL REPORTS 2025
This weekend, the Financial Report for each parish will be posted on the notice boards. I take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of you who regularly contribute to the financial upkeeping of the respective local churches through the basket or envelope collections. As you will see, many overheads must be covered every year, such as light, heat, insurance, wages and requisites. There are also building costs when we need to maintain our buildings. This is the reality all of us have to face daily and the church is no exception from such overheads and day to day running costs.
I also thank those who count and lodge the money every week in the parishes and to all the collectors who assist in this vital role.

PRIESTS SUMMER COLLECTION
This weekend is the Annual Summer Collection for the support of the priests of the parish. Each priest receives an allowance of up to €24,000 per year from this collection, and it is asked that each parish would ensure that it covers the cost of this every year through the quarterly collections. Envelopes are in the church porches or in the weekly envelopes.

NATIONAL GRANDPARENTS PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK, 26 JULY
Celebrating the 6th World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. Sunday 26th July 2026 at Knock Shrine. Chief Celebrant Archbishop Eamon Martin. Commencing at 2.30pm with the anointing of the sick. A day of grace and blessing for the whole family as we honour grandparents and the elderly.
